| The company began its
inception as a sole proprietorship in 1987 operating from an office located at Subang
Jaya. It was initially involved in the electrical and plumbing works at which time, it was
known as C.K. Ching Electrical Services. Apart from the basic electrical works it was
involved with, it started to diversify into the field of instrumentation and
explosion-proof electrical works. It then obtained its first breakthrough in 1991 by
performing instrumentation works when it was appointed as one of the subcontractors to
Showa Denki (M) Sdn Bhd. for the Titan Himount Polymer project located at Pasir Gudang,
Johor. Since then, it has been involved in two other successive instrumentation projects, also under the auspices of Showa Denki (M) Sdn. Bhd. in the MTBE and SMDS project in Kuantan and Bintulu, Sarawak respectively. By late 1992, expansion was necessary thus the initial sole propriertorship was changed to a private limited company known as C.K. E & I Engineering Sdn. Bhd. With its focus, experience and expertise in both instrumentation and electrical works, the company is looking forward to provide good and efficient services on these related fields of work to whosoever requires quality-engineering works.
